Like volcanoes, certain bloggers have been known go through phases in which they lie dormant for extended periods of time, leading everyone to assume they're extinct, and then one day without warning they begin to spew forth huge quantities of smoke and noxious gasses from deep within their bowels.
Not necessarily saying that that's going to happen here. Just saying it's been known to happen.

You knew me as mmf!, back in the days that I lived in Cambridge. In the meanwhile I've come back to looking at blogs again, including mine and yours, and was cheered to see we were both feeling this way at the same time. I'm playing with the idea of returning to the Raw and the Cooked, but am definitely back with a vengeance (and a friend) over at juxt.wordpress,com, in case you like looking at photos.
